BIO

Dr. Balraj S. Jhawar, MD, MSc, ScD, FRCS(C) is a Canadian-trained neurosurgeon specializing in general neurosurgery and minimally invasive spine surgery. With additional subspecialty fellowship training in skull base surgery, he brings extensive expertise to patient care. Dr. Jhawar is board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Beyond clinical practice, he is an Adjunct Professor at both the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and the University of Windsor’s Department of Biomedical Sciences. Holding a Doctorate in Epidemiology and a Master’s in Biostatistics from Harvard, he actively engages in research, medical education, and mentorship. Dedicated to advancing neurosurgical knowledge, he regularly supervises student research and contributes to peer-reviewed journals.
