BIO

Dr. Jessica Willson is an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Western University and an Associate Scientist at London Health Sciences Centre Research Institute (LHSCRI). Her research integrates developmental biology, proteomics, and clinical research to investigate pediatric neurological and developmental disorders. She currently leads the PRISM (Pediatric Research in Inflammation, Seizures, and Mechanisms) study, which uses targeted proteomics to identify biomarkers and molecular pathways associated with fever-triggered seizures in children, with the goal of improving risk prediction and advancing precision medicine. Her broader research program also investigates congenital NAD deficiency disorders and the developmental consequences of disrupted NAD biosynthesis.
