Jen Green was most recently Associate University Librarian for Research & Learning and Collections & Access at the University of Chicago Library (2020-24). Previously, she was Dean of the Barnard College Library in New York City (2017-19), where she guided the launch of a new library and academic centre focused on student learning and interdisciplinary collaboration. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at the University of Michigan Library, including Head of the Science, Engineering, and Clark Library and Director of Research Data Services (2012-17), where she established campus-wide data supports. She began her library career at Grinnell College in 2001. Jen has been active in national and international data communities and was promoted to the rank of Librarian (the highest of four ranks) at the University of Michigan in 2009. She holds an MLIS from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Art History from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
