Adjunct Research Assistant Professor Amedeo Sghinolfi, Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Social Science, Western University, researches Archaeology of the Central Andean Region, Settlement Pattern Analyses, Prehistoric Borderlands, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in Archaeology. His research mission is to reconstruct long-term settlement and borderland dynamics in northern Peru through archaeological survey and spatial analysis. Western’s public sources also identify his regional specialization in the Peruvian North Coast and Peruvian Northern Highlands.
