Professor Kenneth M. Tichauer serves in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His research focuses on molecular imaging and the development of fluorescence-based techniques for cancer diagnosis and intraoperative guidance. He investigates the use of paired-agent imaging to quantify biomarker expression in vivo. His mission is to advance precision oncology through the creation of high-sensitivity imaging tools. Dr. Tichauer provides research supervision for graduate students and collaborates on interdisciplinary projects at the Lawson Health Research Institute. He utilizes advanced biophysical modeling to improve the accuracy of tumor detection and margin assessment.
