BIO
Assistant Professor Ginger L. Watts is a member of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on breast imaging and the development of contrast-enhanced mammography to improve diagnostic sensitivity. She investigates the efficacy of tomosynthesis in screening dense breast tissue to enhance early cancer detection. Her mission is to advance patient care through the integration of high-resolution imaging and clinical research. Dr. Watts provides clinical supervision for radiology residents and fellows. She focuses on optimizing diagnostic pathways and improving outcomes for patients with complex oncological conditions through evidence-based practice.
