Assistant Professor Mohammad S. Misurati, Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, works in pain management, studying stellate ganglion block, perioperative medicine, anesthesia, and collaborative clinical research. He is a collaborator on a randomized controlled trial testing stellate ganglion block for post-COVID parosmia. His research mission is to translate anesthesia-based interventions into better care for difficult pain and sensory disorders.
