BIO
Dr. Sedano is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology with a cross-appointment in the Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology at Western University. She is a Lawson Scientist and a Scientist in the Program of Experimental Medicine. She completed her MD at Universidad de Los Andes, Chile, Internal Medicine residency at Universidad de Valparaiso, Chile, and Gastroenterology fellowship at Universidad de Chile. She subsequently completed an Advanced Clinical and Research fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease, followed by a fellowship in Motility and Neurogastroenterology at Western University. She is currently completing an MSc in Clinical Trials at the University of London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK.
Her clinical practice focuses on the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and GI Motility Disorders.
