Assistant Professor Maria Bres Bullrich, Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, contributes to research on stroke recurrence, atrial fibrillation, acute stroke therapy, neurodegeneration, and cerebrovascular disease. She works within a highly active stroke research program studying recurrence risk, calcified cerebral embolus, and small vessel disease markers. Her research mission is to improve stroke prevention and secondary care through sharper cerebrovascular diagnosis and better risk stratification.
