Assistant Professor Elizabeth Thain is a researcher in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on geriatric medicine, musculoskeletal health, and clinical outcomes for older adults with frailty and bone disorders. She seeks to understand the social and biological factors that contribute to the loss of independence in aging populations. Holding a Medical Degree and specialized training in geriatric rehabilitation, she is an active member of the Bone and Joint Institute. She provides clinical instruction to medical students and supervises graduate researchers in the field of healthy aging, and she is currently available for academic mentorship and doctoral student supervision.
