Assistant Professor Michelle L. McLean serves in the Department of Psychiatry at Western University. Her research focuses on adult psychiatry and the management of severe mental illness within community and hospital settings. She investigates the efficacy of integrated care models and pharmacological interventions in improving functional outcomes for patients with schizophrenia and mood disorders. Her mission is to advance mental health care through evidence-based practice and compassionate patient support. Dr. McLean provides clinical supervision for psychiatric residents and is involved in teaching medical students.
