BIO
Assistant Professor Benjamin Wilk serves in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His research focuses on medical physics and the development of quantitative imaging biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. He investigates the application of hybrid imaging, such as PET/MRI, to assess tissue integrity and metabolic function in vivo. His mission is to advance precision medicine through the creation of non-invasive, high-resolution imaging tools. Dr. Wilk provides research supervision for graduate students in medical imaging. He utilizes advanced biophysical methods to monitor disease progression and the efficacy of novel neurological treatments within the Schulich School.
