Assistant Professor Erfun Hatam is a member of the Department of Medicine at Western University. His research focuses on clinical cardiology and the application of cardiovascular imaging to diagnose structural heart disease. He investigates the role of echocardiography and cardiac MRI in guiding minimally invasive interventions and managing heart failure. His mission is to advance cardiac care through the integration of advanced imaging and clinical research. Dr. Hatam provides clinical supervision for cardiology fellows and medical residents. He focuses on optimizing diagnostic accuracy to enhance patient outcomes and improve the long-term management of complex cardiovascular conditions within the Schulich School.
