BIO

Assistant Professor Christina Ziebart is a researcher in the School of Physical Therapy at Western University. Her primary investigative work centers on osteoporosis, bone health, and exercise interventions with a focus on fracture prevention in older adults. She seeks to develop safe and effective physical activity protocols for individuals with low bone density to improve their functional independence. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Waterloo, she is a member of the Bone and Joint Institute. She supervises graduate researchers in the field of geriatric rehabilitation and is currently available for academic mentorship and doctoral student inquiries.
