BIO

Assistant Professor Petrease Patton is a member of the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on infectious diseases and the management of human immunodeficiency virus and viral hepatitis co-infections. She investigates antimicrobial stewardship and the social determinants of health influencing treatment adherence in marginalized populations. Her mission is to advance global health through the prevention and control of communicable diseases. Dr. Patton provides clinical teaching and supervision for medical residents and infectious disease fellows. She is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based screening protocols and personalized medicine.
