Professor Judith B. Brown, Department of Family Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, is a leading researcher in patient-centered care, interprofessional teamwork, physician well-being, physician practice behavior, and health system change. Her scholarship advances how primary care is taught, organized, and experienced by both patients and clinicians, with a sustained focus on the patient-centered clinical method. Her research mission is to strengthen family medicine through humane, evidence-informed models of care and training. She chairs the Master of Clinical Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs in Family Medicine and co-leads a national primary health care research training initiative.
