Dr. Giangioppo completed her MD at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University in 2015. After her Pediatrics residency at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa, Dr. Giangioppo completed a subspecialty fellowship in Pediatric Respirology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. She then worked as a locum Respirologist at the Children’s Hospital in London, the Hospital for Sick Children, and McMaster Children’s Hospital. In August 2021, she joined the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Respirology at the Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre.

Dr. Giangioppo’s primary research interest is pediatric asthma and she is currently working to develop a pediatric asthma program at the Children’s Hospital, LHSC. She is also completing further specialization in Pediatric Sleep Medicine and will be a Sleep Medicine Physician for the new Children’s Sleep Lab in London.
