Assistant Professor Seyed Alireza A. Rohani is a member of the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Western University. His research focuses on auditory mechanics and the development of high-fidelity middle ear implants and hearing aids. He investigates the biomechanics of the ear using advanced imaging and computational modeling to improve hearing restoration outcomes. His mission is to advance sensory health through the study of sound conduction and clinical innovation. Dr. Rohani provides research supervision for graduate students in medical biophysics. He utilizes experimental and numerical methods to optimize the design of hearing assistive devices.
