Dr. Gweon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences at Western University. He earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Waterloo. His research centers on data-driven predictive modeling and its applications, particularly in actuarial science and social science, with the aim of enhancing the effective use of data resources. His interests also include model uncertainty assessment and automated coding techniques for text and survey data.
