Assistant Professor Rebecca Barnfield serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research explores geriatric medicine and dementia care, focusing on cognitive assessment and the management of frailty in older adults. She investigates the integration of multidisciplinary teams in optimizing the health of seniors living in long-term care. Her mission is to promote healthy aging by developing comprehensive care models for elderly patients with multiple comorbidities.
