Assistant Professor Taylor D Bechamp serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically looking at musculoskeletal injuries and the biomechanics of movement. She utilizes advanced gait analysis and electromyography to evaluate functional recovery in patients with chronic pain. Her mission is to develop rehabilitative strategies that enhance mobility and reduce the burden of disability. She provides clinical supervision for residents and provides instruction in rehabilitation sciences. She holds a Doctor of Medicine and is currently involved in collaborative research regarding sports medicine and injury prevention.
