Assistant Professor Rebekah Jacques, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses her research on forensic pathology, transplant pathology, cardiovascular pathology, medico-legal postmortem examination, and death investigation. Her work spans hospital and forensic autopsy practice across Southwestern Ontario and connects diagnostic pathology with legal and ethical questions in death investigation. Her mission is to strengthen the scientific and medico-legal foundations of postmortem pathology. She also teaches in forensic science, medicine, and pathology, and a recent Western University update highlights her book on forensic pathology and medicolegal principles.
