Assistant Professor Jeremy S. Chitpin, Department of Psychiatry, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses his academic work on mood and anxiety disorders, transition aged youth, trauma, and psychotherapy. Based at the First Episode Mood and Anxiety Program, he studies and supports earlier, more responsive care for young people with complex affective illness. His mission is to improve outcomes in emerging mental illness through patient-centred psychiatry and better trainee education. He also contributes strongly to medical learner development, a recurring theme in his public Western University profile.
