Assistant Professor Erik Leci serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. His research focuses on clinical nephrology and the pathophysiology of acute kidney injury in critical care settings. He investigates diagnostic biomarkers to predict renal recovery and the efficacy of renal replacement therapy protocols. His mission is to improve outcomes for patients with complex renal disorders through targeted therapeutic interventions and evidence-based medicine. Dr. Leci provides clinical teaching and supervision for nephrology fellows and medical residents.
