Professor David Jeffrey, Department of Mathematics, Western University, leads research in symbolic computation, numerical computation, computer algebra systems, Maple, and microhydrodynamics. His work on computational mathematics and the development of algorithmic tools for exact and approximate problem solving, especially in symbolic and applied settings, makes sophisticated mathematical computation more reliable, usable, and powerful for both theory and application. He also serves as Director of School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences Outreach and Research.
