Assistant Professor Hana Serajeddini, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on severe asthma, lung imaging, computed tomography, hyperpolarized gas magnetic resonance imaging, and translational clinical research. Her work studies advanced airways disease across a spectrum of severity, linking imaging biomarkers with clinical phenotypes in asthma, bronchiectasis, bronchitis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Her mission is to improve diagnosis and treatment in complex airway disease through imaging-informed respiratory research. She also completed fellowships in advanced airways disease and pulmonary imaging and contributes to respirology teaching at Western University.
