Dr. Cassidy completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University (2005). She then went on to complete her degree in Medicine at the University of Ottawa (2009), and her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM & R) at Western University (2014). She is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of PM&R and Paediatrics at Western University.

Dr. Cassidy’s main clinical focus is in the Transitional and Lifelong Care (TLC) Program, housed primarily at Parkwood Institute. The program provides long term rehabilitative care to people with chronic and sometimes complex conditions of childhood onset, including Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and others. Dr. Cassidy’s other clinical responsibilities include regular electrodiagnostic clinics at Parkwood Institute, specialty teen clinics at Thames Valley Children’s Centre, and inpatient consultation services for the Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation unit at Parkwood Institute.
