Associate Professor Derek Pamukoff serves in the School of Kinesiology at Western University. His research program integrates biomechanics, osteoarthritis, and neuromuscular function to preserve joint health in physically active populations. He specifically focuses on the relationship between gait mechanics and the progression of knee osteoarthritis following ligament injuries. Having earned a Doctor of Philosophy from Michigan State University, he is an affiliate of the Bone and Joint Institute. He directs the Biomechanics and Musculoskeletal Health Laboratory and is currently available to supervise graduate students interested in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation research.
