Assistant Professor Mohammad Q. Khan, Departments of Epidemiology and Biostatistics and Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, focuses his research on portal hypertension, advanced and transplant hepatology, hepatitis C screening, liver fibrosis prediction, and gastroenterology outcomes. His work connects hepatology practice with epidemiologic methods and electronic medical record–based research to improve liver disease detection and risk stratification. His research mission is to bring stronger evidence and predictive tools into the care of complex liver disease. He also contributes to teaching and scholarly activity in Gastroenterology and Epidemiology and Biostatistics at Western University.
