Professor Amanda McIntyre conducts health systems and health service delivery research across the continuum of care (emergency, acute, rehab, long-term care, and community) exploring gaps in patients’ transitions through care settings. Within a health equity lens, she examines access to care, delivery and adequacy of health services, and follow-up trajectories. Professor McIntyre has research expertise in quantitative and qualitative methodologies, including several review techniques. Her clinical practice is in emergency nursing.
