Associate Professor Sean Waite, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Science, Western University, researches social inequality, gender inequality, higher education outcomes, LGBTQ and the labour market, LGBTQ identity, poverty and health, and criminology and deviance. His research focus is how inequality shapes educational, labour market, and health outcomes, especially for LGBTQ communities. He serves as Undergraduate Chair in Sociology and teaches at Western University, pairing research on inequality with student-facing leadership.
