Assistant Professor Gauri Ghate serves in the Department of Medicine at Western University. Her research focuses on physical medicine and rehabilitation, specifically investigating the management of chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. She evaluates the efficacy of interdisciplinary rehabilitation protocols in improving functional independence for patients with complex injuries. Her mission is to enhance the quality of life for rehabilitation patients through evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. Dr. Ghate provides clinical teaching and supervision for medical residents within the PM&R unit.
