Dr. Lam completed her undergraduate and medical degree at Western University. She subsequently trained at the University of Calgary for her general surgery residency and pediatric surgery fellowship. Dr. Lam spent a year in Edmonton as a locum pediatric surgeon at the Stollery Children’s Hospital and a clinical lecturer at the University of Alberta. She then returned to Calgary to pursue a surgical research fellowship with the EQuIS (Efficiency, Quality, Innovation and Safety) Research platform focusing on clinical quality improvement initiatives and implementation science while concurrently obtaining a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Quality through the George Washington University. Dr. Lam has joined the Division of Pediatric Surgery at the Children’s Hospital at LHSC in 2020 as a pediatric general surgeon and assistant professor with Western University.
