Dr. Sheri Molnar is Associate Professor in the Department of Earth Sciences at Western University. Dr. Molnar completed her Ph.D. at the University of Victoria in 2011, and spent three years as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Molnar's research is focused on estimating subsurface ground conditions using surface seismic methods and examining effects to earthquake ground shaking. She has led or participated in earthquake response teams in Canada, Chile, & Nepal, as well as the U.S.A. and Greece. She begins her position at Western shortly after participating in an earthquake response team to Nepal to study and help out following the recent devastating earthquake there.
