Lecturer and Graduate Programs Faculty Lead Aleccia Ann Hofstetter in the Arthur Labatt Family School of Nursing at Western University, Faculty of Health Sciences, focuses on trauma and stress related disorders, neurobiology of trauma, primary care, women’s health, and nurse practitioner education. Her work connects trauma-informed primary care with advanced nursing education and clinical leadership. Her research and teaching mission is to strengthen care for women and other patients affected by trauma while preparing nurse practitioners for complex practice environments. She teaches in graduate nursing and brings clinical and educational expertise in primary health care.
