BIO

Assistant Professor Stephanie Bishop, Departments of Biochemistry and Microbiology and Immunology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, leads research on metabolomics, liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, bacterial infections, microbial community metabolism, and bioanalytical chemistry. Her lab develops analytical tools to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying host-microbe and microbe-microbe interactions, including how microbes respond to antimicrobial compounds in complex biological systems. She also teaches Biochemistry 4425 (Metabolomics and Proteomics) at Western.
