BIO

Assistant Professor Kelvin T. Y. Chan, Department of Mathematics, Western University, is a mathematician with a research focus in algebraic and enumerative combinatorics and undergraduate mathematics education. His research mission is to strengthen both mathematical understanding and mathematics education by bringing disciplinary insight to teaching and learning. He earned a BSc (with Distinction) in Mathematics at Simon Fraser University, an MMath in Combinatorics and Optimization at University of Waterloo and then a PhD in Mathematics at York University.
