BIO

Assistant Professor Jeremy D. Hill serves in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Western University. His research centers on host-pathogen interactions and the role of the innate immune system in controlling bacterial infections. He investigates the molecular mechanisms of immune signaling pathways and the development of novel immunotherapeutic strategies. His mission is to advance the understanding of infectious diseases through the study of cellular defenses and microbial evasion tactics. Dr. Hill provides research supervision for graduate students and contributes to the microbiology curriculum. He utilizes advanced molecular biology tools to identify targets for improving host resistance to pathogenic bacteria.
