I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Classical Studies at the University of Western Ontario (Western University). My research interests are Greek and Latin lyric, metre, and archaic and classical Greece, particularly from the perspective of literary theory, psychology, papyrology, linguistics, and cognitive approaches. My current focus is Lesbian poetry and my book Poetry and Performance in Alcaeus of Lesbos is forthcoming with Oxford University Press.
