I am an environmental anthropologist with over a decade of experience working at the intersections of environmental science and governance at the international, national, and local levels. My work is focused on bridging the natural and social sciences and fostering collaborative environmental management practices. I have worked primarily with watershed groups to ensure that the social, political, and historical factors that shape environmental challenges and solutions are taken into consideration.

Research topics I have participated in include the role of computational modeling in watershed governance, the transport of aquatic invasive species through the live bait vector, subsistence fishing in the DC Metropolitan area, and the response of watershed communities to glacier recession in the Pacific Northwest.
