Assistant Professor Angelica Moresco conducts research in the Department of Paediatrics at Western University. Her scholarly work emphasizes pediatric neurology, neonatal brain injury, and neurodevelopmental outcomes, focusing on the early identification of neurological disorders in high-risk infants. She investigates the efficacy of neuroprotective strategies during the neonatal period to improve long-term functional independence. Having earned her Medical Degree and specialized training in pediatric neuro-rehabilitation, she is a member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She teaches medical residents and is currently available for academic mentorship and doctoral student supervision in clinical research.
