Assistant Professor Arash Dhaliwal serves in the Department of Psychiatry at Western University. His research program integrates clinical psychiatry, addiction medicine, and mental health to improve the management of concurrent disorders. He specifically focuses on the effectiveness of pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventions for individuals with substance use and mood disorders. Having earned a Medical Degree and specialized residency training, he is an affiliate of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. He teaches medical students and residents while supervising graduate researchers in the field of clinical psychiatry, and he is currently available for student inquiries and academic mentorship.
