Dr. Taylor Brysiewicz is an Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics at Western University. He is a Principal Scientist in the Symbolic Computation Laboratory at Western, which in partnership with its sister labratories, compose the Ontario Research Centre for Computer Algebra. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Brysiewicz earned his doctorate in mathematics from Texas A&M University. He then did post-doctoral work at Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences and the University of Notre Dame for a post-doc on computational algebraic geometry under Professor Jonathan Hauenstein in the Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics department. 

Now, at Western University, Dr. Brysiewicz's works on research in numerical algebraic geometry. He develops and uses numerical algorithms for studying solutions to polynomial equations.
