BIO
Assistant Professor Jason Bertram, is a mathematical biologist in the Department of Mathematics with a cross-appointment in Biology, at Western University. Dr. Bertram works in the areas of evolution and ecology. He develops mathematical models to understand the biological processes that underpin adaptive evolution. Stochastic processes, ODEs, PDEs and computational methods are all important in his research. Dr. Bertram leads research in theoretical population genetics, evolutionary dynamics, stochastic processes, population dynamics, and mathematical biology.
