Professor David Seminowicz is a researcher in the Department of Medical Biophysics at Western University. His primary investigative work centers on pain neuroscience, brain imaging, and cognitive modulation to understand the neural mechanisms of chronic pain. He seeks to identify brain-based biomarkers that predict treatment response and disease transition in musculoskeletal disorders. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Toronto, he is affiliated with the Western Institute for Neuroscience and the Bone and Joint Institute.
