Professor Siobhan Schabrun conducts research in the School of Physical Therapy at Western University and at Lawson Research Institute, St. Joseph's Healthcare London. Her work focuses on neuroplasticity, chronic pain, and neuromodulation, particularly the use of non-invasive brain stimulation to understand, treat and prevent musculoskeletal pain. She investigates how maladaptive changes in the brain contribute to persistent pain and how they can be reversed through targeted therapy. Holding a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Adelaide, she is The William and Lynne Gray Endowed Research Chair in Mobility and Activity at the Gray Centre for Mobility and Activity, Lawson Researh Institute, St. Joseph's Healthcare, London and a core member of the Western Institute for Neuroscience. She supervises research in the Human Pain Discoveries Laboratory and is currently available for graduate student mentorship and doctoral supervision.
