BIO
I am a nurse academic and researcher with more than 15 years of experience in nursing academia. I am a women’s cardiovascular health researcher; my research interests include an exploration of cardiovascular health services (especially digital/ tele-health services) for immigrant populations and those living in LMICs. I am extremely interested in exploring how these digital health services can be made more compassionate and culturally relevant to the needs of immigrant populations. My research is underpinned by health equity, social justice, and intersectionality lens.
