Professor Robert S. McKelvie, Department of Medicine, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, works in cardiology with emphasis on heart failure, cardiac rehabilitation, secondary prevention, cardiovascular care, and clinical guidelines. His academic work is closely tied to translational and patient-focused cardiovascular management through Western University’s Heart Failure Program and the St. Joseph’s Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Program. His mission is to improve long-term outcomes for patients living with heart disease through evidence-based prevention and rehabilitation. Previously a professor at McMaster University, he holds a PhD and continues to mentor within academic cardiology.
