Dr. Saptharishi (Rishi) Lalgudi Ganesan is a Pediatric Neurocritical Care physician-scientist and Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University. He provides clinical care in the Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Children's Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre, and leads the 4C Research Group (Cognition, Consciousness, and Critical Care). His program sits at the intersection of bedside critical care and clinical neuroscience, with a central goal of understanding, monitoring, and protecting the developing brain during and after critical illness. He holds leadership roles across several national and international research and professional bodies, including CanPICC, POPCORN (as Scientific Committee Chair), the Pediatric Neurocritical Care Research Group, and the Neurocritical Care Society's Curing Coma Campaign Pediatric Disorders of Consciousness Committee.
