Dr. Maisha Syeda is a licensed, clinical child and adolescent psychologist in Ontario. She holds an adjunct research appointment at Western University. She is a staff psychologist in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children as well as in the intensive day treatment program at the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health. In her clinical roles, she provides psychodiagnostic assessments, consultations, and structured, evidence-based psychotherapy for complex and co-morbid mental health challenges. Dr. Syeda's areas of research focus on community-based intervention development, gender-based violence prevention, and psychological well-being of trans and gender diverse children and youth.
